Morocco: Majestic Golfing, 7 Nights and 4 rounds of Golf

As you cross the fairways surrounded by the dunes at Agadir, El-Jadida, Mohammedia, and Casablanca, the snow dusted peaks of the High Atlas in Marrakech, the hundread-year-old oaks and anchient ruins at Rabat, you'll marvel at the wonder of Morocco's magnificent landscapes.

Day 1: Casablanca / Marrakesh

Airport arrival, transfer and check-in to the hotel for a buffet lunch. Then you may join the welcome reception or have some free time to relax until we depart for dinner in "Caleches" (horse-drawn carriages). We'll enjoy intimate views of the old city and dine at the restaurant "La Bahia" in the splendid atmosphere of Andalusia Music and belly dancers.



Day 2: Marrakesh

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we'll spend the morning at the Marrakech Royal Golf Club. Built in the 20's this is the oldest and arguably the most scenic course in Morocco. Cypress, eucalyptus, palm, olive, orange and apricot trees line the fairway and the snow capped Atlas mountains provide a majestic backdrop for your game. Walk in the footsteps of Winston Churchill, David Lloyd George and Ike Eisenhower and try for par. In the afternoon, we'll take you to the souks and the famous square "Jamaa El Fna". We'll top the day off with a gala evening at "Chez Ali". After dining in traditional tents, you'll witness an ancient Berber fantasia spectacle (a cavalcade charge with a firing of muskets finale).



Day 3: Marrakesh

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we'll spend the morning at the masterpiece 18 hole Palmeraie Golf Club. Set on a spacious valley with numerous sand hazards, abundant palm trees and magnificent lakes, this golf course is truly a masterpiece. In the evening we'll feast at the great Yacout restaurant with a spectacle of belly dancers.



Day 4: Marrakesh / Fez

After breakfast, transfer to Marrakesh airport to catch the flight to Fez, the oldest cultural and spiritual imperial city of Morocco, which was founded in 790 B.C by Moulay Idriss II. Arrival at Fez, check-in and buffet lunch. Afternoon will be dedicated to the sightseeing of Fez. Highlights will include the Medieval Medina, the Medersas, the El Qaraouiyyin Mosque and the sumptuous Nejjarine fountain.



Day 5: Fez

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we'll spend the morning at the Royal Golf Club of Fez. Lunch will take place either at the Golf Club or in Fez. Afternoon is yours free to relax or for more personal explorations of this great city. Dinner and overnight stay.



Day 6: Fez / Rabat (123 Miles)

After breakfast, departure to Rabat, the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Check-in and lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, we'll do some sightseeing of Rabat, which will include the Mohammed V Mausoleum, "Oudaya (oceanfront medina) and the surroundings of the Royal Palace. This evening we'll have a special cultural event, "Flavors of Authentic Moroccan Culture", an intimate dinner party in a traditional Moroccan home.



Day 7: Rabat

You'll spend the day playing at one of the world's most famous Golf courses, the Dar-Es Salam Royal Golf Club. Home to the annual Hassan II Trophy Tournament, the renown Red Course is ranked among the most spectacular in the world. Magnificently designed by Robert Trent Jones, the 3 courses at this club offer something for every golfer. We'll break for lunch in the club.


Day 8: Rabat

Depending on your mood, you'll either spend another day or a half-day playing at one of the three majestic golf courses of Rabat or you can decide to explore Rabat in great depth or use the day for personal relaxation.



Day 9: Rabat / Casablanca (60 Miles)

After an early departure from Rabat, we'll visit of one of the world's most splendid monuments, the Hassan II Mosque. In the afternoon, you'll depart to the Royal Golf Club of Mohammedia, the first golf course built in Morocco and set in a delightful, charming and flower-decked setting. We'll then dine at one of the best seafood restaurants in Casablanca.



Day 10: Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport

After a buffet breakfast, we'll assist with your check out and provide a transfer to the airport and assistance with the boarding formalities.

Round-trip airfare from JFK to Casablanca (6.5 hour non-stop flight) with Royal Air Maroc. Airfare from most major US cities to JFK can also be arranged at extra cost.
Greeting, assistance and transfer from Casablanca International Airport.

Accommodation on half board basis (2 meals/day, breakfast and dinner) in the category of hotels selected. Lunch will take place either at the golf clubs or in town at one of our suggested local restaurants.
