London - Lincolnshire to visit Epworth village. Visit The Old Rectory (The
Wesley Family home) with lunch followed by visit to Epworth Parish Church
and tomb of Samuel Wesley, Epworth Methodist Memorial Church, The Market
Cross and the Red Lion Inn
Overnight Lincolnshire with breakfast lunch and dinner
17th June
Full day in Lincoln including service at Lincoln Cathedral

18th June
Lincolnshire - Black Country to visit The Bishop Asbury Cottage, The boyhood
home of Francis Asbury before travelling on to Oxford.
Overnight Oxford - Breakfast and dinner
19th June
Spend the day exploring Wesley's Oxford and visit Christ Church College and
cathedral (John and? Charles Wesley both attended), Lincoln College
(John Wesley really founded Methodism here - see The John Wesley Memorial
Room and college chapel), view the University Church of St Mary The Virgin
This tour will be a walking tour conducted by an expert from The Wesley and
Methodist Study Centre.
Early evening transfer for the 2 hour drive to Bristol
Overnight Bristol - Dinner and breakfast
20th June
A full day in Bristol. We will visit John Wesley's Chapel (The oldest
Methodist building in the world) with the Francis Asbury Memorial Room,
Charles Wesley's house (Recently restored Wesley home form 1766 - 1771 we
will also see Hanham Mount and The Pill (It was from Pill that Francis
Asbury set sail for America)
Overnight Bristol - Dinner and Breakfast.
21st June
4 hour drive from Bristol - London
Afternoon visits to Wesley Chapel and house and Museum Of Methodism and
Wesley's tomb in City Road. Also view the Aldersgate Flame (John Wesley's
conversion place memorial)

Sunday 22nd June
Free day in London for personal exploration - suggested locations may be The
Charles Wesley Memorial , St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey or The
National Portrait Gallery with the well known portrait of John Wesley by
Nathaniel Hone painted in 1766. Or attend service at venue tba.

Transfer to London Airport for return flight.
