Day 1 | On arrival in George you will be met by a representative from Celebrity Tours who will assist you with collection of your hire car or transfers and hand over all the documentation needed for your trip. |
Day 2 | After breakfast travel to George Station where you will board an authentic steam train (Choo-Tjoe), and travel along one of the world's most picturesque train routes to Knysna. On arrival in Knysna you will make your way to the heads, where a round of golf at South Africa's answer to Pebble Beach - Sparrebosch Clifftop Estate- can be enjoyed. This is one of South Africa's acclaimed new golf courses, situated high on the East heads at Knysna, with spectacular views over the Knysna Lagoon on one side, and the Indian Ocean on the other. |
Day 3 | After breakfast, depart Knysna and travel to Oudtshoorn where you will have the chance to visit the world famous Cango Caves as well as an Ostrich Farm. |
Day 4 | Play golf at George Golf Club. This scenic course remains one of the popular stops for golfers year after year. In a recent study by a panel of experts in the Golf Digest Magazine, George Golf Course deservedly was voted in the top ten layouts of South Africa. In the February 2001 issue of 'Golfer' magazine George was voted the 10th best golf course on the country for 2001. |
Day 5 | Play golf at Knysna Country Club, or if you are staying at Fancourt at either Montague or Outeniqua. |
Day 6 | As a Grande finale - golf will be reserved for you this morning at The Fancourt Links, the host of the President's Cup 2003.
